Naomi Klein's "Baghdad Year Zero" is finally online. A must read. as many have enunciated before I riffed on it last month, in which one learns that the bloody mess Bush is busy calling a "catastrophic success" did not happen despite American good intentions; it happened because of an American Dream, an effort replace a socialist system with the free-market ideal, and thus tax cuts and "small government" were poured over the flames like so much oil.
